Cool Thingymabob

I’m trying very hard to implement Dave Allen’s Getting Things Done methods. Especially since I am the freelancer/entrepreneur sort who has no boss and no schedule. I thought it would help me stay focused and on track. Which equals income. In perusing the multitude of GTD analogue tools (aka paper) I ran across a very cool widgety thingymabob while reading someone elses blog. I can’t remember who referred me. Whateves.

It’s called PocketMod and it’s a miniature, disposable booklet for notes, appointments, contact info, shopping list, to-do lists or whatever floats your boat. I printed one out and it’s perfect for the purse and backpocket! It’s the size of a business card. There’s even a PDF to PocketMod converter which I already tested on a real estate flyer. I can use this as a fun marketing product. Imagine, a little bitty book of real estate listings made just for you while house hunting with me! Go B!

All in all, the best part of this little widget is that it’s small. No cumbersome datebook to drag around. Yay! This is so cool. Dunno how it will actually work in real life. I’ll keep you posted.

PS – this could be one of my fads so don’t get all excited that I’m getting organized.
