1 Oct 2006Yep, I know what you’re thinking. I change WP themes like most people change undies. In my own defense I must argue that it’s hard not to change! There are so many terrific WP themes out there. It’s like clothes. I just want to try them all on!
Still, I understand you might want something consistent to bring out those feelings of familiarity and comfort. Therefore, I’ve selected a nice minimalist theme where I can tweak the header to satisfy my need for change yet still create a homey feeling for you, gentle reader, like when visting granny who always has a lovely pot of tea and a delicious pound cake on hand! As soon as the internet has ’scent-o-surfing’ I will plug in the tea and cake smells for your snifffing pleasure. And for those who are about ask, sorry, I will not be shipping tea nor cake anywhere until they invent some sort of beaming ray. It’s just too impractical!
You may also notice that I’ve brought ads back. This is only to cover the cost of hosting which has increased since I’ve started storing images. Speaking of images, I’m in the process of finding (and tweaking) a photo album-type thingy. It will be available from the blog pages which is so much nicer than having to send everyone over to Kodak. And I hope to have more control of the way the image looks on the blog than with Kodak. Stay tuned for that.
Please let me know what you think about the ‘new look’ and new ‘features’ I’ll be adding. I love hearing from everyone!

Have you tried Flickr? It’s free for a basic account, which just might do everything you want. Plus it’s a gigantic community.
Oh, and I like to change themes also. WordPress is AWESOME for that!

Pfitz – I have tried Flickr but they have some silly storage limit for the free part. I love their interface though. Wish they would give me more space!
